The teachings of the Izanagi-ryu folk belief system have been passed down in the area of Monobe, Japan over the centuries.
To be in awe of and having respect for nature…
To appreciate what we have in our daily lives…
To cherish what we cannot see and to be thoughtful of others…
These teachings are what people believe in
and are always present in the lives of the people of Monobe,
as well as in the environment around them.
Amid that setting, Maki no Yado is a guesthouse that features the easygoing yet powerful personalities of the people of Monobe,
conveying the heart of Izanagi-ryu.

まきの宿は一日一組、一棟貸しの宿です。築８０年の古民家で、ショートステイからロングステイまで、目的に応じた滞在をお楽しみいただけます。

Maki no Yado is a standalone guesthouse limited to one group per day. Please enjoy your short-term or long-term stays at the traditional Japanese folk house.
